WebOct 5, 2015 · If your target only has 1 hitpoint on his CT and you fire a 48 damage alpha at his CT, the game will only count that as doing 1 damage. This is especially useful if you're in a fight with multiple mechs. You apply just enough firepower to finish one, and then turn the remaining guns on the next guy. BTW, a tip for chainfire.
