Note that this is a pre-assembled MK3S from the factory, so the bearings are packed with whatever Prusa uses. (if that matters ) So far I've only been using the whitish grease they sell here.

WebThis is basically white lithium grease with graphite ground up in it. This quiets the bearings and seemed to smooth the action a lot. Frankly, if the manufacturer says lithium, I would tend to go with their recommendation. Make sure it's a free standing lithium in a tube or tub.
