The 351C can make decent low end torque, but it's forte is higer RPM horsepower. The 351M makes it's torque in the low RPM range (the 400 even more so) like the 351W. Actually, it looks just like a 289/302 but with a taller block and a wider intake manifold. Cleveland has a square valve cover with more bolts. Easiest way to describe the differences.
