It was described as a masked intake high swirl intake head. It's not really recommended for high performance as you will gain more flow and compression using the e7 heads. WebApr 23, 2010 · The E6SE head was used on the H.O. 5.0L engine only in 1986. (Mustang and Capri was the only H.O. 5.0L that year). After '86 the H.O. 5.0L and truck engine switched to the E7TE head but the S.O. 5.0L engine in passenger cars continued using the E6SE head until the 5.0L ceased production.
