Objective:
To establish Hurtado's reputation in the United States as one of
the world's most respected furniture manufacturers.
Result:
McNeill Lehman planned and orchestrated Hurtado USA's grand opening
in April 2000 at the International Home Furnishings Market. The
reconstructed High Point showroom was packed with admirers when
the mayor cut the ribbon and Spain's ambassador to the United States
gave a rousing speech to an enthusiastic crowd. This opening event
was followed by a steady stream of advertising that highlighted
some of the world's most beautiful furniture manufactured by one
of Spain's most respected companies. "You've made us seem bigger
than we are in America,"Hurtado told us.
